A#latergram from yesterday evening’s canal stroll. #winterlight #sunset (at Shoreditch Park)
Sent by my parents who visited the house we lived in until I was 5. What a fantastic view! Lucinda is such a pretty place. #nostalgia
It’s been a while since I’ve written! My last (text) post was in June and there’s been a lot of changes since then.
I’ve changed jobs!
I moved from my role as a researcher & writer in a media company to a social media & comms role in a tech, media and telco firm. It’s a massive change of gears but I’m enjoying it immensely. I can tell it’s helped to tighten my writing and broaden my skill set. I’m working on campaigns with some really interesting ideas and people as well as developing apps and content. Onwards and upwards!
I’ve started crafting
So far it’s just painting the odd bit of furniture or planters for the balcony but I look forward to more of this. Nothing I’ve done so far has been share-worthy but it’s something I find relaxing and constructive. I’ll start to share once they’re not as amateur.
I’m helping friends with their creative ideas and blogs
I like talking about brands, ideas, people, strategies and writing - particularly with people who have their own skill set and ideas. So far I’ve helped my friend talented friend (and chef) start www.girlandfoodblog.wordpress.com. It’s a work in progress but a very promising one.
Who knows! I can see myself moving towards marketing, brands and content strategies. It’ll be a while before the ideas form into something more coherent but the journey is an interesting one.
What are you up to?
Photographer Mark Bridger, 45, took the beautiful autumnal images over the last two weeks at The Old Deer Park in south west London.
Hate the DM but LOVE a good nature shot!
